Arrive and transfer to Arusha Coffee Lodge — a perfect haven hidden amongst one of Tanzania's largest coffee plantations.

Fly to Tarangire. Sanctuary Swala Camp sits in a remote corner of Tarangire in total seclusion amongst giant acacia trees, looking out over the flat savannah. Low visitor numbers offer a truly private experience. Highlight: sundowner in the middle of the Tarangire bush as the sun sinks and a magnificent log fire is lit. Candlelit dinner under the African night sky.

Fly to Manyara, then road transfer to Ngorongoro. Arrive for lunch and afternoon at leisure enjoying the lodge facilities. Day 5: descend into the crater — the largest perfect volcanic caldera on Earth. 25,000 large mammals roam the plains, lakes and forests inside the crater walls — bull elephants, rhinos, lions, hyena, wildebeest and flamingo.

Transfer to Manyara airstrip for the morning flight to Kusini private airstrip. Kusini Camp sits in the remote southern Serengeti — one of the greatest places in the world to see large predators. Lion, cheetah and leopard often lie in the kopjes nearby. Between January and March the great migration returns and the treeless plains are covered with wildebeest giving birth. No other camps nearby — adventurous travellers guaranteed unobstructed viewing.
